In, “You can’t go home again,” Tomas Wolfe says,
“(Death is) to lose the earth you know, for greater knowing; to lose the life you have, for greater life; to leave the friends you loved, for greater loving; to find a land more kind than home, more large than earth.”
This comforted Celia when she lost her younger brother a few years ago. Now it can comfort me. So as I leave the friends and family start of my journey and venture out on my own, I carry that thought with me.
Beautiful thought to keep with you. I love reading your blog. You have lived a very interesting life and when you get home, Chris and I would love to have you over to hear about your adventures – past and present.
